Fakespirational Posters

The other bloggers will likely soon have pregame breakdowns of all the facts you need to know, some have already started with the lineup we should expect to see tonight, so I'll let you wander over to them for the cold hard facts. What can you get from me? Motivation, of course!

Sometimes you have to give your equipment some instruction to make sure it performs well, I'm always talking to stuff at work (I'm seriously not as crazy as I might seem) and it looks like Draper does too.

Next we have Rafalski trying to send a message...

Finally, proof that even the Perfect Human has off days, Nick Lidstrom is in the penalty box.

  1. Aw, the ever unusual Nick-in-the-box. Funny to see him in there.

And just so you know, the collage of Miller in the last post became my background instantly. :)

  2. You have a great talent in taking pictures. Your eye is impeccable. I'm bringing my new camera tonight, I only hope that my pictures only come out half as good as yours! :)

  3. WingedUP- I took about 15 pictures of Nick-in-the-box just so I had proof of it. I haven't changed out my desktop background yet, but I'm really tempted to :)

Dena- Thank you, I'm really flattered that you think so highly of my work. I'm sure your pictures tonight will be fantastic!

Vicky- Haha, I'll be at the game tonight and hopefully will get some new pics up either when I get home of early tomorrow- there will be more!

  4. Okay, so I've been a totally awful supporter of my favorite new blog! Much reading & no comments? FAIL. How I've missed our motivators (Sara & I motivated our way through December & early January with our pics)! Sara's got a great eye for the scene (especially capturing some hilarious hockey moments) & I can't wait to see more! The "Back-Off" one is still one of my favorites & Nick in the Box is always fun to see! (I miss our Abby in the Box pics tho). Can't wait for the game tonight!

  5. Thanks! And don't worry Manda, I've got an Abby tribute in the works. You know I loves me some Justin Abdelkader! Very excited to see what kind of pics we can get tonight!

  6. I love them.. If I had more available wallspace in my tiny appartment I would full size print them and hang them up... um.. maybe the bathroom

  7. Andy- I don't know if I should be flattered or concerned about your decorating ideas... maybe both?

  8. The Lidstrom one in particular makes me SO happy, especially after last night's horribleness.

  9. I got THE CUTEST mini-video of Kronner getting teased by Drapes. Sooooo cute. My pictures look like I'm a half mile away. :( This was after cussing like a sailor at my camera for most of warmups and the first period! I just need more practice. ;)

  10. Natalie- As much as I want Nick to stay on the ice, nothing cracks me up quite like Nick-in-the-box, not even Pavel hanging out in there looks quite as amusing... Brian Rafalski in the box probably comes the closest, it makes me laugh so hard whenever he gets a penalty- he always looks so confused!

Dena- That's awesome about the mini-video! I have one of Datsyuk stretching that I may have to post at some point. It's hard the first time out with a new camera, the first time I try a new location my first 20 or so pictures are crap... Luckily, I usually take at least 300 a game, so I have plenty to make up for it :)
