If you don't like the fellow, you probably shouldn't tell that to my camera. The new one, much like the old camera, seems to focus much better on Drew...
than it does on other members of the team.
Guess I still need some practice with the new settings.

Bribery
So it seems the whole positive behavior reinforcement thing is working with Brunner. Or he just likes being bribed with the food he ate growing up. Either way, he's playing well and we definitely have some people that need to step up like he did. So here's the deal, I made my deal with the devil for Brunner, my part is done/in progress. If you can manage to keep it clean (please, my mom and possibly my grandma read this blog), comment below and tell me which player you're going to motivate and what you'll do to achieve that. If I like your idea, and especially if it works, your player will get a tribute post. Or some pathetic attempt at photoshopping like my Where in the World is Drew Miller post from years ago. I might even see if someone I know with the proper software can make it look decent. What are you willing to (cleanly) do for your Red Wings?

A return to normalcy
Although the lockout has probably left a sour taste in your mouth, I for one am glad to have the NHL back. At least the Red Wing portion of it. To celebrate that, I finally have some pictures to share again. This first one is a throwback for Natalie.
Now on to some pictures from more recent times...
I discovered I am sorely lacking in Zetterpics from last year and plan on changing that this year. Any other requests of what you'd like to see?

First post game
First post game of the season, so we're gonna do this up in style. As in lots of pictures. First, by special sarcastic request of Norm, here are a few of Hudler. This was going to be a joke, but then Huds decided to show up and play last night, so it's only partially in jest.
Now that I've taken care of that, how about someone less... Hudler to look at?
Much better. Or what about a large, grumpy Swede?
I like to post pictures of those newer to the Winged Wheel, especially when they score...
Finally, here's some love for Jimmy.

Chicgao Pregame
I feel a bit out of order here, there will be a post-game post for last night, but I haven't done it yet. In fact, I hadn't even looked through my pictures until about half an hour ago... you all know what happened and you all know what's coming up today, so let's get straight to the motivation. I only made 2 again today, I'm still getting warmed up for the season (maybe some day I'll plan these in advance, probably not though)
I think this describes how we all feel about Chicago, minus the violent hatred of course...
Awesome old timey feel to the game means old timey treatment of the picture...
Not that I don't trust Pav, but can someone else drop the gloves tonight? Somehow I think Chicago will fight dirtier than Corey Perry

Calgary Post-Game: Where in the World is Drew Miller?
I wasn't going to do a post-game for the Western Canada Revenge Tour, but when I got the new battery I needed for my computer 2 days early I took it as a sign. The universe wants me to post some pictures today.
Last night Drew Miller was EVERYWHERE. Yes, he wasn't able to capitalize on his chances, but he threw his whole 178 pounds into that game. It had me wondering, where is Drew Miller today?
He started his day in China, catching some sun while walking along that Great Wall of theirs. (Please excuse the very amateurish photoshopping, I'm kinda new at it...)
Next, he crossed Asia to make a quick stop at the pyramids...
Then Drew flew to Europe, pausing for a quick picture in the city of lights.
Since he can actually speak the language there, Drew decided to make two stops in London. Here he is posing in front of Big Ben.
Wanting to get a good view of the city, Drew headed over to the Eye before hopping on his plane again.
After landing in New York, Drew decided to wander around Times Square while waiting for his next flight...
On his way back to Canada, Drew made one more stop.
As I write this, he's on his final flight back to meet up with the rest of the team as they enjoy their day off :)
