A letter to Babs

(written last night at 3 am, saved until now to make sure it makes sense...)

Dear Coach Babcock,

You need someone who is not afraid to throw his big butt (your words, Mike, not mine) around and get scrappy for scrappy's sake. Perhaps someone young, someone born and raised in Michigan, someone already with you in Phoenix...







Make it happen, Mike. Please.

    Oh I really like that last one of him too. It seems like he's good for those...thoughtful, I guess, I can't think of a better way to put it, shots. The one on the Concentrate motivator is like that too. It makes me wonder what he's thinking.

    I think my phone just got a new background. :D

    WingedUP- Glad you like the pics! You're right, Abs is very good at the thoughtful-style shots, I love catching that kind of moment

    I knew Babs read your blog :) He totally listened to you! Actually, I think it was hilarious last night that I was the first one of the two of us who was like, "OMG, get Abby in the line-up NOW." I was trying to conspire a way that we could cut & dye Abby's hair so that he could pass off as J-Willy for the rest of the game. But then I realized that Abby would actually get noticed because he'd DO something, so I figured it was probably not a good option. Either way, Shane Doan, you've been warned. We've got a Black Ace out there with playoff experience, who's been hungry to come back to the NHL, lead the team in hits before he was sent down, and frankly, isn't afraid to lay a big hit on your ass. The PK will be better, Jimmah will continue to be his awesome self & make a bid to take over the universe, and someone remind Kronner where his favorite spot on the ice is.

    Oh, and of course, how could I not love any pics of Abby??

    Amanda- You know Abby is WAY too effective and adorable to pass himself off as J-Willy. Plus he'd keep throwing around that big butt...

    Dena- According to Amanda, my eyebrow kept twitching all game in hatred of Doan... I can't wait for someone to either Abdelkate or Kronwall him.
    Also, nice job on the profile. As always, love the pic!
